When he spots a beautiful housewife and her two young daughters stranded on the side of the road, he sees the perfect disguise to cover his tracks from the hit men on his trail.
The two strangers share the open road west - and find each other on the way. But Guidry’s relentless hunters are closing in on him, and now he doesn’t want to just survive, he wants to really live, maybe for the first time. superb
I've just finished the audiobook of 'November Road'. If you're looking for an evocative, perfectly paced novel, you really should read this one.
November 1963, a road trip, an escape, a romance and a reckoning. This is a beautiful book that I absolutely adored.

Gripping Story - Great Narrator

Thrilling cat and mouse across the US
Really enjoyed this. Good narration of a gripping story. I need something fairly fast paced on my commute and this fitted the bill.

A superior literary thriller
I listen to a lot of thrillers but this was far superior to most. Well drawn, complex characters. A real sense of time and place and a remorseless sense of jeopardy.
