Summary

Noam Chomsky dissects the multiple crises facing humankind and the planet; and provides a road map for resistance.

In this completely original set of interviews between the legendary duo of Noam Chomsky and David Barsamian, the two confront topics such as the pandemic, the wealth gap (made worse because of the pandemic), climate destruction, the increasing power of the corporate owned media, systematic racism, Big Tech, and more.

Noam Chomsky is one of the most cited scholars in human history. He ranks right up there with Aristotle and Marx, and this book reaffirms his esteemed reputation. Notes on Resistance will inspire all those struggling for human liberation.

little disappointed

Very informative book, but disappointed with the lack of coverage to the mass vaccination for C19 and the global narrative used to coerce vast swaths of the population to take an untested vaccine they didn't need, the media steered propaganda to make children and in fact anyone under the age of 50 to submit to something they weren't at risk from, the result of locking down such a huge amount of the workforce has cause immeasurable amounts of debt and ruined hundreds of thousands of small business, at the same time we have seen a massive shift in wealth from the working class over to the already super rich. the side affects of the vaccination program has caused huge numbers of people to adverse reactions and include deaths from the vaccine and still the media is very hush hush about these statistical facts. all the while big pharma companies have gained ridiculous amount of profits and worse were given immunity from prosecution.
The book mentions India and the farming problems but failed to cover that companies like Monsanto caused devastating problems to cotton farmers by introducing GM cotton seeds that then failed.
The global elites that are intrenched in the WEF and what that means to our future is another subject that needed mentioning but seems to be taboo

Interesting overview of American politics

Very well read, my first Chomsky read/listen; excellent general insight into American politics. Not always in agreement, but have learned more about the machinations of US politics.
