From first to last, the characters who Bradley encounters are so fabulously eccentric, one finds oneself planning a trip to Bolton and surrounding areas.
Just like the book, you catch yourself laughing out loud as Brad finds himself an object of interest while he navigates the kindness of "strange" strangers. All the while subject to a rhetorical "you're not from round here, are you?"
As an audio book, Not From Round Here is a listening treat. So much so, I'm sure the next step is the Brad and Rachel Not From Round Here shows performed at the Octagon theatre or Albert Halls and beyond.
