About this listen

Was bringing three hot AF ghosts back to life a grave mistake?

All I wanted to do was kiss my ghost boyfriends, but instead, I broke the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead. Whoops. Now, a horde of demons and hellbeasts is after us, and if I don't get control over my resurrection magic soon, we're in for some grave consequences. Like the end of the world.

I'm creeping it real here—I'm terrified. There isn't enough coffee in all of Grimdale to fortify me for this battle.

What if the price of falling for three beautiful, spirited, impossible men is worse than death? What if the only way to stop Grimdale from becoming a literal ghost town… is to give up my soul?

Bree and her ghostly men are back for their final spooky adventure in Not a Mourning Person, book four of this darkly humorous cozy fantasy series by bestselling author Steffanie Holmes. If you love a sarcastic heroine, hot, possessive, and slightly unhinged ghostly men, a mystery to solve, and a little kooky, spooky lovin' to set your coffin a rockin', then quit ghouling around and start listening!

I've now listened to all four books and this adult cosy series is good. The characters are well developed, as is the storyline. The narrator miss pronounced several words but for some reason this was not as irritating as I usual find it :) Its a slow easy listen with many tasteful non explicit sex sceens which is just as well considering the age difference.

Smooth and cosy

It's the last of the series and I couldn't be more sorry. I'll miss those guys so badly! It's a great ending to a fabulous story I'll be going back to more than once. I feel emotionally attached to Bree and her guys and the epilogues made me cry. Don't get me wrong, it's a happy ending, bo one ever doubted it had to be. But still, happy our not, it's the ending and I'd like the story to continue for all the long years.
I've started this adventure from the Never-ending book store series and fell in love. Initially I thought it was a bit too farfetched with all the fantasy elements, but I let myself get immersed and soon there was no way out of the narrative. And as Bree's story is closely entwined with Mina's, I got curious and started listening to our ghostly adventures. I believe it's even better.
Admittedly, a lot of credits are required to purchase both intertwined series, but in my humble opinion, worth every penny.

This must be love.
