Brilliant read!!!!

Sheer bloody mindedness made me finish this. I didn’t really like the narration, it was quite harsh for the most part. I hated his nickname for her. Too many “as I “ & “ as he” . It could have been a really good ‘book’ but just fell short.

The internal dialogue became a little annoying.I would have definitely liked it better if there was a dual point of view.

If you take this for what it is - an insta lust/love romance between two strangers that go through a fairytale amount in telenovela-ish type drama and declare their love for each other in the span of about a week - then you will be entertained.

If you go into this looking for or expecting great character & story depth or growth then you will be disappointed. This was an Audible Plus catalogue find and I really like the narrator so decided to give it a go, and for an included listen I can't complain as it gave me the easy listening i was looking for. 🤷‍♀️
