An amazing guide to managing anger and all the side-emotions, like shame, or regret, that come with it. Anger can blow anyone sideways, let alone teenagers. It can be incredibly difficult to deal with and manage!
This audiobook is easy to follow, practical and compassionate. I especially liked the chapters on self-forgiveness, self-care, and identifying triggers. But there's a whole lot more, like actual scientific explanations of what happens in the brain when anger strikes, which also helps!
The book contains many exercises and follow-up practice techniques, and real-life scenarios.
Overall a positive, well rounded transformative guide! Will be coming back to it a lot.

I got this audiobook, as a close friend has three teenagers currently feeling the pressures of growing up. Actually, after listening to the audiobook, the many gems of practical advice, support and guidance could be used by teenagers and adults alike. I also found the mindfulness techniques useful, as I often find myself worrying about work deadlines. Now I have learnt simple ways to come back into the present moment, which is important whatever our emotional state inside is. The audiobook also has really useful to have practical exercises to complete. The narration was easy to listen to and the topics were clearly structured.

This book could not have come at a better time. I know it says for teens and it absolutely is! But it has actually helped me drastically over these past few days and I highly recommend it for anyone who snaps quickly, gets angry whether you lash out on others or keep it to yourself which is only hurting you more. This will really help walk you through the steps to leading a more calm, happy and appreciative life! For you and those around you. (very important)

This audiobook was awesome! I could tell Iasha and Stacy put a lot of hard work into writing this audiobook, the intricacies and beautiful word choices were all so awesome! Joanne did a great job voicing this as well and put on a great performance.

The main reason I purchased this audiobook was for my brother. My Brother has a very hard time trying to put what he wants into words, which usually gets him upset. This audiobook helped him manage his emotions, and I can tell that he's actually become a better person overall. If you are on the edge of purchasing this audiobook, just go for it!
