Yet again another brilliant read , the way the story is told in so much detail always makes me feel as if am there , the love and support she shows so selflessly to the children is just beautiful. What a remarkable women she is and I think we all need a Cathy glass in our lives

...I know this isn't a funny story but Cathy, you have a trait my hubby has....truly selfless! Whereas I wanted to shake her by the shoulders, you leave the door open...but sometimes, Cathy, you give soooo much!!!!! Wonderful to hear another chapter of your life. xo

I love Cathy Glass but in comparison to her other books this one just didn’t have the same feel. I also don’t know how I felt about the outcome. I know Cathy is writing the outcome how it happened but I felt so sad for the little girl involved and that she couldn’t go back to her original circumstances.

This is the first account of Cathy's fostering where I have been uncertain about her actual fostering methods. I shook my head, so many times.

Lily was awful (yes, she was broken, damaged) and in my opinion she was abusing Cathy's support .. and I felt Cathy wasn't correcting her aberrant behaviours anywhere near as much as she normally does. This could have been down to it being a tricky situation in that this wasn't a typical fostering - Lily doorstepped her, and Cathy (beautifully, generously) took her in, but the girl was taking the mick. Still have huge praise for what she did however and wonderful outcome.
