This book was a rollicking read it had so many different twists and turns with some dead ends and a few red herrings. I learnt all sorts of things about the rowing fraternity. I will read it again.

Wow a great read!

I've tried listening to and 1.5 hours of this one and it just isn't getting any better. It's slow, plodding and boring. Far too much general everyday description and sadly lacking in story. We all know that trees light up when car lights shine on them! The narration doesn't help much either It certainly doesn't make me want to carry on listening so time to send this one back and try something new.

Yawn Yawn...

I'm over two hours into this book and that's as far as I'm going. The narrator's voice grates after a while, the characters don't seem to have any character or personality and I can't remember who they are - or the plot for that matter.
No redeeming features as far as I'm concerned.
