Really love these characters, the story has folklore and magical elements, there's mystery, friendship, loneliness, adventure, romance, darkness and light, it really leaves no stone unturned. Book one leaves you satisfied but eager for Book Two, perfect weekend read/listen.

Trying to remember all the meaning of the Korean words but it's still quite entertaining!

really enjoyed the history, culture education and story. the fantasy element was a nice way to knit all of this together. romance was a little overwhelming at points but the story and pace is good and characters fun to read about.

I really enjoyed this book. I love books set in East Asia so the Korean folklore went down a treat with me.
It was mixed with contemporary romance with some spice mixed in too.

I really hope there will be a book two and if there is I hope it comes out soon as I'm so invested in the characters now and want to see what happens next 😊🦊
