Summary

This box set includes the first three full-length books in the best-selling Nightworld Academy series.

Welcome to the Nightworld Academy, attended by vampires, shifters, and witches. A place filled with harmony and mutual respect between the supernatural races. Sometimes.

I'm Maeve Foster, the weird girl whose disturbing visions drive her increasingly mad. My behavior became too challenging, so I'm shipped off to the Nightworld Academy to spend time with other troubled teens.

Troubled vampire, witch, and shifter teens.

Somebody forgot to give me the memo - I'm a witch.

On the plus side, I now have friends who don't think I'm crazy.

There's Ash, the rugby team captain and the academy's most popular guy, who just happens to be a shifter.

Then, there's Andrei, the moody guy with a bad attitude who takes pleasure in annoying me - oh, and he's a blood-drinking vampire tempted by taboo witch blood.

My quirky witch roommate Amelia takes me under her wing, as does her friend Jamie, the studious and friendly witch who's by my side when I need him.

Add in my confusing pull toward the mysterious and hot Professor Whitlock, and I'm in trouble.

I'm thrust into a world where potions lessons and academy games are fraught with rivalry and where the Dominion insurgents join forces with the exiled Blackwood witches to take on the corrupt Confederacy council.

My powers are more potent than anybody expected, and I discover I'm a pawn in a war between the Confederacy and Dominion. My bond to the four guys grow, and I'll need to rely on each of them to help me navigate my new life. But forbidden relationships and unusual magic bonds make this life twice as complicated.

If you love a fierce heroine who learns to accept her life, delicious guys who love and protect her, and an academy world filled with magic, mystery, romance, and danger, scroll up and one-click to start the series today. This series is a slow burn YA/NA reverse harem.

Please note: This set contains books one to three and is not the entire series.

Slow burn

A very slow burn. The storyline is a very slow start in book 1. However picks up a lot by book 3. I would have probably enjoyed the series a lot more if I hadn’t listened on audible as the Narrators accents were both very poor attempts at british.

Slow burn

The protagonist is really annoying but by halfway through book 2 I couldn’t put this book down now going straight on to book 4.

A worse version of Twilight.

Absolutely nothing happens. We spend there whole books waiting for something to happen and it just doesn't. The accents are awful, the main chart being the worst. Random explitives injected in that do noting for the story. RUBBISH!

Not worth the money.

I had high hopes for this story but it lacked depth in fact it became tedious and uninteresting. I had no problem with the narrator, just the story seemed to drag out to the point I quit it after book one.

could not finish

this was painful. I actually got to book three but by the fist 1/4 the writing is so horrible I could not finish. the characters are shallow and unrelatable. the story is not well planned and the repetitive a dialogue made my ears bleed. the main character is so wrapped up in what she believes but constantly contradicts herself (do as I say not as I do). this books target audience are preteen girls who are vapid and unable to see the forest for the trees.

Interesting Story

This series is really interesting. I liked world the author has created. The story's engaging and intriguing, It definitely got a bunch of fascinating characters. Although, there were a number of times I rolled my eyes over the female MC's thoughts and actions.

Sarah Colton and Steve Campbell were amazing in this series. It was so easy to get lost in the story with them narrating it.

Boring

I kept listening, thinking this HAS to pick up soon, right? Well, 3 books in and I think it may finally just be at the beginning of something interesting happening, but I don't think I want to waste the money for the next book to find out. The narrator was great though.

Hate Reverse Harems

Hint - this seems to be a hidden reverse harem, meaning nothing in the description tells you that it is a RH. Which sucks, because I hate RH's. I mean seriously hate them. And this is. Story is just ok. Narration is good. The rest after a bit through book 2 is history as I'm returning it.

Meh.

The writing is good and the narration is great too. Generally, that is all you need for a good audio book. However, the subplots of are what dominate most of the story and the lengthy inner monologues can be a snooze. I found myself skipping entire chapters when there were character changes because most of what was revealed was useless. It has a lot of filler and a very thin main plot.
