Wieder einmal hat Klein gekündigt, nachdem er bei einem Streit mit seinem Vorgesetzten in einen Bottich voll Öl gefallen ist. Sogar bei der Gewerkschaft hat er sich beschwert, doch die hat ihm auch nicht weiter geholfen. Auf dem Heimweg merkt Klein, dass es nichts bringt immer wieder seinen Arbeitsplatz zu kündigen und dann zu denken, die Welt habe sich zum Positiven verändert. Spätestens, wenn er den Weg zur Arbeit auswendig kennt, ist es Zeit für ihn den Arbeitsplatz zu wechseln. Aber irgendwann wird ihn keine Firma mehr aufnehmen. Immer öfter versucht Klein herauszufinden, was ihn von den Fabriksarbeitern unterscheidet, die anscheinend nichts dagegen haben, ihr ganzes Leben nur Arbeiter zu sein.
