I'm almost ashamed to admit that I simply couldn't get into this audiobook at all, because it feels like something that I should be passionate about. However, I basically just let it play in the background because I couldn't engage with it beyond the most superficial level. So after the grand revelation in one of the *MUCH* later chapters, I completely lost all interest in the novel, because it felt like that's where it should have ended. And I literally didn't care enough about the story or the characters to even finish it. -_-
