Predictable if like me you've already read most of Portias books.. But it's a nice easy, feel good read, especially on a rainy weekend. Karen narrates this in such a nice way, that you just want to get comfortable and relax.

I have not came across a book that I don't like from Portia Macintosh.

This book about Mia Valentina getting engaged to her fireman boyfriend Leo whilst ghostwriting an autobiography for pop star Dylan King was perfect Chicklit, which is my cuppa Tea.

When it came to Mia having a painic attack I could actually relate to the character. I liked that she found it difficult to make friends as an adult because I am the same, once again making the character relatable.

I loved the adventure she went on, although her disapproving family were annoying except Mia's lovely Grandad who loved and supported Mia for who she was.

Karen Cass is my favourite narrator, she always brings Portia's characters to life.

If you like Hea Chicklits, then I recommend this listen 🌠
