About this listen

He's the one I swore I'd never ever fall for.

A teammate’s betrayal. A banishment. A secret revealed.

That’s all it took to unravel my life at the seams.

The punishment for my past mistakes goes further than expulsion, and penance can only come from the worst hell imaginable:

Summer camp.

Ten weeks spent wrangling a bunch of kids is bad enough, only to get worse when I meet my new co-counselor.

The back-stabber himself.

Kaleb LaMothe.

Being forced to coexist adds more tension to our already shaky foundation, but it also pushes us to uncover deeper parts of each other.

Until animosity becomes a feeling far more dangerous.

An attraction so potent, I lose sight of why I’m stuck in the wilderness to begin with.

And if I’m not careful, I might lose something else entirely.

Like my heart.

Never Will I Ever is a new adult college romance featuring two quarreling camp counselors, grudges the size of Mount Hood, secretive outdoor rendezvous, and a group of meddling tweens sure to send you into hysterics. Not suitable for anyone under 18 years of age.

Narrators are TOP, soooo good at bringing the story to life!! And i absolutely adored both Avery & Kaleb 🥹🤍✨

I really didn’t know what to expect from this book, because I loved book 1 so much & in that one Avery makes such a horrendous mistake (as the “villain”) I was uncertain how he could be “redeemed”. But I shouldn’t have doubted that CE Ricci would get me on Avery’s side because he really was doing the self-work to try and overcome his internalized shame & the pain he felt from being ghosted by Keene in book 1. I absolutely LOVED listening to this story on audio, both narrators did a stellar job bringing the main characters raw emotions to the forefront. A Fantastic listen!

A stellar second book in the series!

I disliked this book because of Avery, he never should have been forgiven to the extent he was, the character is just disgusting regardless of his “excuses”. He’s a bully and a coward and what makes it worse is he’s an adult!!! regardless of being a young adult, he should have known better and he’s just horrible. He was appalling to Kee and Pen and genuinely hurt both of them
So I just couldn’t forgive that no matter his “redemption”.
But I also enjoyed it for a few reasons; the main one being Brandon Francis, I adore him as a narrator, he’s my favourite narrator full stop (Maddox is my fave MMC and also my favourite book of all time - Garron park) so I honestly couldn’t skip this book - id never miss a chance to listen to him - especially since I’d already read Don’t you dare. I just wish it was Duet narration as I really don’t like the other narrators voice so it kinda took me out the book a lot.

Now the best bits are the Setting, the summer camp is super cute and I loved the kids involved. Elijah was adorable!
Kaleb was a nice character but I found it hard to support his relationship with Avery; and I think how he falls for Avery put me off him a little.
The spice is good, but I found don’t you dare much better on that front. Overall I wouldn’t recommend reading but maybe listen if you love Brandon like I do ☺️

BRANDON FRANCIS 🥰 PERFECT AS ALWAYS!
