Draws you into the characters and worlds and leaves you eager to continue the story, A spiritual battle between good and evil, where people can be redeemed from their evil wrong doings. The concept of the chosen twelve fighting to save humanity is both ancient and fresh, giving this narrative a compelling twist. This is a really high-quality audio-book. A great listening experience. The story is compelling and enticing and draws you in. Their is suspense and almost immediate engagement....you'll see what I mean if you listen. An outstanding narrator (which is a rare treat)....who makes it come to life. I highly recommend you listen.

When it comes to audiobooks, for me the first thing that has to be good is the narration. It can't simply just be read, it must be performed. Thankfully, John Regan's book is narrated superbly by Alan Turton. An exciting & eerie fantasy horror that keeps you listening and engaged. Great characters and a great concept. I really enjoyed this one. I highly recommend Nearhope!
