About this listen

Do the ends ever justify the means?

Delve into a labyrinth of moral ambiguity and psychological tension where the pursuit of power and justice collides with the darker impulses of betrayal and manipulation.

Curated and edited by Jeff Circle, the creator of The Writer’s Dossier, each narrative unearths the hidden complexities that drive individuals to make troubling choices in the name of loyalty, revenge, or survival, exposing the intricate interplay between right and wrong. This anthology challenges these characters and listeners alike to consider how desperation can shape decisions, leading to moments where the 'right' choice becomes obscured by the weight of circumstance. In Myopic Duplicity, with each tale, the anthology crafts a vivid exploration of the human psyche, illustrating that sometimes the most compelling conflicts arise not from external forces, but from within.

A fantastic anthology of crime thrillers written by collection of great authors. There is a lot to consider within each story as murky grey areas moral dilemmas and twists in plot arise.

I particularly enjoyed AITA as the plot was told in the form of Reddit posts and updates from a first person perspective. It was a nice twist to present a story in that way and awfully entertaining. It made the story feel almost real and as if I was reading an actual AITA post, allow me to resonate strongly with the protagonist/OP.

A must listen with an array of excellent narrators!

Excellent crime thriller anthology with clever approaches to story telling!
