After loving My Commander, I couldn't wait to dive into My Protector, and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Gavriel is honestly every woman's Prince Charming. He's protective, caring, patient, and completely devoted. But don't let that fool you because he definitely has a dark side when the people he loves are threatened, and I absolutely loved seeing both sides of his character.

My heart broke for Beth at times. Her clumsiness made me feel so sorry for her, especially because you could see how much it affected her confidence. All I wanted was for her to realise just how strong and lovable she really was.

I love that this series doesn't just focus on the main couple. You still get to spend time with all the characters you've already fallen in love with, and it honestly feels like catching up with old friends every time I start the next book.

Alanea Alder has done it again. This series has the perfect mix of romance, humour, action, and characters that completely steal your heart.

My only complaint isn't even about the book. I'm absolutely gutted that the rest of the series isn't available on Audible because I need more of these characters in my life!

Loved this book!! Gavriel & Beth are an amazing couple - polor opposites but it works. The book had me laughing, the antics that the Warriers get up to shoppiing - priceless. Another great narration job, Shame the other books in the series are not on here. I went and got the kindle versions just so I could finish the series, I had to know how the other mate pairings went.
