I had to keep re-listening as I got confused- especially who each male was and their role - it was well read though
Also throughout the story I had intermittent ’white noise’ which was unpleasant and distracting

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I could not see where the story was going and I like that from a book. I am new to Dorothy and will definitely be reading more of her books. Finding Dorothy is akin, for me, to having been introduced to Lucinda Riley, I enjoyed My other husband that much.

You just know that in spite of her childhood trauma, Lola is going to take over the world one day.

I have really enjoyed this book,Dorothy Koomson never disappoints, I have neglected her for a while and am now very keen to read more, so am heading back for more!

I normally love Dorothy Koomson’s books, her story lines are compelling and contain twists when you least expect them. However, the narrator of this book totally spoils it. The intonation is poor, and she says legible instead of eligible, not once, but twice. That with the occasional ‘somethink’ spoils it for me. The story is ok but doesn’t really feel it’s taken off even though I’m currently on chapter 21. I’m debating whether or not I continue. Very disappointing
