It takes a lot of skill and talent to craft a short story or novella that still packs an emotional punch and takes you on a journey and My Obsession delivers and then some. Samuel is a wonderful and relatable main character who is vibrant, happy and confident but all the same falls hard for the British Rockstar Jay and his music. An everyday obsession with your favourite musician takes a very 21st century turn after some messages on Instagram and a fairy tale whirlwind romance IRL.
I love these characters so much, Samuel is sweet, loveable and genuinely cares for Jay who hides a vulnerable yearning for someone to see past the rockstar persona and just want him. Oh and the spicy scenes....they do not disappoint. If you like hot and intense with a little side of Daddy kink, then this is for you.
The final cherry on top is that this is all delivered by the master one man multicast that is James Joseph. He is perfect and shifting between multiple character voices and his trademark silky cadence and emotional performances just make him an absolute powerhouse and one of a kind. This was the perfect story to showcase his amazing talent.

Jay and Sam are from completely different worlds. Sam is a huge fan and never thought that he would get to meet Jay. A comment that turns into some light hearted DM's has Sam's dreams coming true.
This is a great light hearted, low angst love story. Jade Grey did an amazing job with this one. 10/10
