the story itself was alright but I can't say I cared about the plight of Megan, really found her boring and repetitive and quite frankly not a very sympathetic character, not just for what she obviously did being a selfish friend.
other characters were ok. I just felt something missing, that magic that helps you identify with the characters was absent.
if you want a run of the mill story, where the everything is glaringly obvious, then this is for you.

Kept me guessing right up to the end - excellent narration which helps to keep you on your toes and wanting to listen more - highly recommend this audible.

This book took me a while to finish. I became disinterested half way through as the pace was slow and the main character, Cat, was annoying. However, I never like to give up so went back to it and it picked up pace and the twists and turns kept my interest. I guessed the ending but I’ll definitely give another of this author’s books a go.
