Summary

Two siblings, both missing for 20 years turn up within one day of each other. One dead. One alive.

It was an ordinary school day, the day I lost my little brother.

One moment he was on the roundabout and then was gone. Gone. Missing.

They all blamed me. I was in charge. Even though I was only ten years old.

They sent me away. The hurt, the shame, the questions. The not knowing.

I tried to move on.

It’s been nineteen years in exile and now somebody wants me back.

Someone with a dark secret. They hold the keys, they know the truth.

So, I need to return to the Welsh village of my childhood to find out who, because I have a secret, too…

I did something bad.

Diane Saxon’s standalone thriller is sure to plunge you into the dark world of secrets and lies.

Immersive, intriguing, true life.

You can’t help but become involved in the story. Think of circumstances or situations or real life stories you have heard.
This is an absolute for a series on one of the main streaming platforms.
My sisters secret builds on that needs and then……. There must be more?

all round a good book

I really enjoyed the book , excellent story and plot , the narator was also brilliant . The book comes with a happy ending and an unexpected ending . no one could imagine losing a child , for the parents and siblings , although this is not a true story it gives an excellent idea of the effect it had on not only the family but the people who surrounded their lives . Everyone suffered in some way or another

A very enjoyable listen

Came across Diane Saxon when I first downloaded audible and I have to say I have enjoyed every single one of her books.
They all take the time to introduce the characters so you can really picture them in your head as the story goes along. I found this story really gripping and thoroughly enjoyable.

An absolute must

The book was gripping from start to finish, such a great story, read beautifully by Charlotte Worthing. I really don’t know what the person who complained about the narrator was listening, I’d happy listen to her all day long!!
Don’t miss this one 😀

Refreshingly different

This is a new author for me , one I will look at again. It had everything for a great story , sadness Joy, intrigue , twists and turns , and kept me guessing , narrator was excellent too . Thank you both for making this an enjoyable experience.

I’m not a thriller fan normally but

Ok where do I start I have the paperback and the author signed it for me reminding me not to read in bed. Yes I am that much of a whimp. I used to hide behind the sofa when the Daleks came in Tv ( Dr who)

Anyway I loved it. Couple of suprise that I didn’t see coming. Can’t say anymore don’t want to spoil it for you.

Oh and great narrative perfect for the novel

This was a fantastic book, absolutely loved everything about it. The narrator was great, the accents, the characters, the plot. I really enjoyed all of it. Well worth a credit.
