About this listen

The Blustocking

Lady Corinna Mowbray has three passions: Excellent books, intelligent conversation, and disdaining the libertine Earl of Chance.

The Rake

Lord Ian Chance has three pleasures: Beautiful women, fast horses, and tormenting high-and-mighty Corinna Mowbray.

Neighbors for years, Corinna and Ian have been at each other's throats since they can remember. But when a twist of fate forces them to trade lives, how long will it be before they discover that they cannot live without each other?

Switching bodies is a new quirk in my Regency addiction but as the beginning of the book was promising, I decided to persevere. I'm glad I did as the story was entertaining and the narration was excellent.

Much better than anticipated

there's a magical happening, which is shortish, and which leads the hero and heroine to look at things from another perspective. loved the other characters too and the narration was first class.

loved the different storyline and romance

The first couple's of chapters are really not good and the narration is not right for this book, but, saying that, this is a really excellent book and it get so much better so stick with it, and it is definitely worth listening to despite those niggles.
With the right narration this would be right up there with the best I’ve listened to.
All the way through I was amazed at how such a well written fabulous book was given such a poor choice of narrator- she sounded like my nan, and the male voice, oh my word, so not good.
It says a lot I that I listened to the whole thing and loved every minute despite that.
The second is a take on Groundhog Day, again it’s done really well and thoroughly enjoyable.

Really good and a bit different.
