This is a funny and moving story Violet suffers a life-changing event, and works hard to gain her independence and freedom. Jason I spent his whole life outcast and longing for a family that no longer exists. I devoured this story and love Jason and Violet. A really wonderful story and a narration is excellent.

An imaginative and entertaining book with a twisty plot, big surprises and a highly original story. Meemaw was my favourite character and I loved how brave Violet was. Donna Frank totally nailed the narration.

I really loved this idea. A fun story with some nice humour, great dialogue and some strong themes of loss, family and redemption.. Emotional yet uplifting it was a real pleasure to read. Loved the main characters. Narration is with bringing the story to life I received a complimentary copy of the audio and am leaving a voluntary honest review
