As short as this listen was, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the narrator (whom I’m pretty sure I’ve heard before on other audiobooks that I’ve enjoyed)
It’s quick, descriptive, with a brilliant little ending! The plot of the psychological side of the character is interesting and I will be continuing this series ☺️
Absolutely I’ll be recommending it to others, it’s a great genre change for me too as I normally stick with romance only.

My Bad Self is the prequel novella to the My … Self series. I've been dying to read this series and jumped at the opportunity to review this one. I was absolutely hooked right from the start. The concept is so interesting and intriguing. The way Jessica weaves in mental health and always manages to create something thrilling from it is amazing. The alternating chapters were great and made it even more chilling, especially knowing who the second person is. Huntley’s stories are unlike any other. This was the perfect way to dip my toes in this series and I can't wait to get my hands on the other books!

I’ve seen Jessica talk about this series on her Instagram and I’ve always been intrigued but after reading this prequel novella, I am definitely going to have to pick up the series.
I love the concept of Josslyn/ Alicia and the narrator did a great job differentiating between them, the characters were so well written! I literally raced through this unable to put it down.

I loved this little novella that took us back in time before the events of the My...Self series.

the narration was done really well, with distinct differences to know which personality pov we were listening to.

it was good knowing where things were going as there were nods to what happened in their past in the other books.

the perfect prequel to start the series and such a quick listen. I got it finished on a dog walk!
