book 2

i confess i prefer the Jill Gooder witch pi series but this is written with the same verve and elan. a good story although not a long one it has pace and leaves you on a cliffhanger wondering what the next will be about.

Loved it !

I loved this book. The characters were good, the storylines were good. You can see it as an opening book that will lead to more. Zero is my favourite character. He has lots of skills and works quickly. He's a good guy. Kat's a bit unbelievably brave in circumstances; but the whole thing hangs together well. Can't wait for the next one.

Adele at it again

I enjoy Adele Abbot’s light-hearted stories. Well thought out mysteries with satisfying conclusions. This is the first I’ve read of heard without paranormal elements. Didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much but her Kat character was strong without magic. Alison Campbell narrates the other novels by Adele, and I felt like I was still in the same universe as Adele’s Witch series because of her pleasing voices. Good book to relax and feel good to.

Another great start to a new series

Adele Abbott has written another great installment to start to a new series. Kat Royle is a great lead character and it’s great to have another female lead. Zero is a great side kick. Both characters are well crafted and believable. If your a paranormal mystery fan then you won’t want to miss this one.
