When Kiwi backpacker Cody Short goes missing on one of the biggest cattle stations in Australia, the local police in the town of Secret find themselves out of their depth and forced to ask for assistance.
Detective Sergeant Nick Vada is sent with his new partner, Probationary Detective Joanna Gray, to the harsh environment to search for Cody. He's also been asked to investigate the disappearance of another woman who went missing on the same station in mysterious circumstances a year ago.
