 When new bride Kaveri Murthy reluctantly agrees to investigate a minor crime during the blood moon eclipse to please her domineering mother-in-law, she doesn't expect to stumble upon a murder - again.

I gave up after a few chapters. Despite the interesting setting and some well drawn characters and plot, the novel was let down by the narrator. Her reading was flat and monotonous, without variety. It was slow and ponderous, and her repeated ill-timed pauses made me wonder if she did not understand, or had not prepared what she was reading.
