I love a cozy, gently paced, murder mystery and this one ticked every box for me. Plenty to keep me guessing while the plot unfolded. Very glad I downloaded it - so often I start these types of stories and just give up on them. The narrator has a really lovely soft voice and easy to relax to.

Kept me interested right to the end.

I found this book utterly confusing. I lost track of all the old people and babies that kept being introduced and TBH couldn’t be bothered to catch up, I did t like the main character, I found her very odd. The father of her children was murdered but she let her children go off without her, she could have joined them more quickly but she was much more interested in sorting out past mysteries. And far too nice to her husband’s other women and actually to him. Completely unrealistic.
