Michael Pedersen is a truly talented wordsmith, every sentence is a joy to behold. And Jack Lowden is a very talented actor, with a real flair for characterisation and accents. Put the two together, and add in a remarkable location (the most northerly island in the UK) and it makes for a very entertaining listen. Highly recommended.

Narrator was absolutely fantastic!
The story was so descriptive and emotionally compelling. The struggles were incredibly touching. I could feel the pain of the relationship between father and son. I actually felt sorry for the father who had been hurt and was trying so hard to be better.
I would totally recommend this book to anyone.
