The series on Audible is two read books and a dramatisation in the middle. While both have their strengths, it’s really jarring to hear the dramatisation and then download the following book only to find it’s not dramatised at all. The tone felt very serious in the read versions for the rather gentle murder mystery series that the books are - I don’t expect a serious tone when reading a book called ‘Just Desserts’ about a crime solving caterer. I’d split these into two series or separate them somehow to be more clear they are not following one to another in the way they’re produced.
