Summary

A top 10 new adult and college romance from best-selling author Stephanie Brother.

Cole

Want me to dirty-talk you into the big O? Just listen to my show. And if that's not enough, I'll show you precisely what a man needs to do to bring a woman to her knees.

I don't want to be at this ridiculous frat party, and I certainly don't deserve to get it in the neck from a rude girl in a sparkly purple dress.

But when she pushes me away, I feel like I'd do anything to get in her bed.

And when I find out she's forbidden fruit, I want her even more.

I tell myself I'm only looking to fill her mouth with something other than smart talk, but it turns out my little spitfire has way more to her than meets the eye.

Katie

When I hear his voice...oh my goodness!

The Big O has always been a big flop for me until I hear Mr. OMG on the radio. Let's just say his dulcet tones, and my finger make enough magic together that I see stars. For the first time ever! I call his show and ask for advice on my failing love life, and he tells me I need to loosen up and have some fun.

That's easier said than done until I meet Cole.

I tell myself he's just an arrogant frat boy with a bad attitude and way too much sex appeal. But there's something about him that I just can't ignore.

Mom tells me he's going to be my stepbrother, and it's just another reason to say no.

But when Cole touches me, I'm calling out OMG for all the right reasons. And when he holds me, I feel like we could be made for each other.

I need to protect my heart the way I always have, and I try, but it seems that Mr. OMG has other plans for me...and I might not be able to resist.

This is a stand-alone novel with a happy-ever-after ending.

It’s all good

A lot happened in this book but I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters and their family is awesome. We all need to learn how to communicate more. This is a clever story and I love how they all circle around to each other. The narration was great. I recommend this book. HEA. No cliffhanger.

Cole and Katie

Funny, forbidden and steamy, you can't go wrong with Mr O.M.G. This story caught my attention from the first chapter! The sexy DJ, with his flippant advice and hot voice was it for Katie. Until she met Cole. Cole bumped into her at a party and the instant spark had them both obsessed the next day. Until they went to breakfast to meet their new to be step parents. And even when they found out they were going to be step siblings, the growing bond between them and the chemistry keeping them together. But their time was limited...or was it? This spicy story has so much more to it than just attraction. Katie is sweet but she drove me crazy. Always protecting her heart when I wanted to push her to follow it. Cole is slightly broken, has a crazy mother and heart of gold. Their parents also add a spark of goodness and hope.

Heather Costa and Jeffrey Kafer bring this gem to life. I enjoy this team and together they made this an enjoyable listen. Each adds the perfect personality to each character. It is a great performance.

great narration

• Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
• Would I listen to it again: for the narrators - yes

• Did I feel an emotional connection to the characters: not particularly - in the beginning Katie struck me as a bit of a brat, I did start to warm up to her once she put the pieces together and figured out who Cole was when she caught up with him while he was dealing with his mother.

• What did I like about the story: good pace and interesting characters who experience a significant amount of personal growth. The idea behind the story is entertaining, although i'm not convinced two adult children at college who have no idea their parents are dating until a family get-together can really be deemed 'step siblings'.

Neither Katie nor Cole as children have ever had an example of a healthy relationship from their parents so both are somewhat cynical and weary of relationships. A chance meeting at a frat party ignites sparks neither can ignore. Unbeknown to the pair, Katie's mother and Cole's father are to be married, upon hearing the news Katie decides despite their chemistry they are going to be stepbrother and stepsister so nothing can happen between them ... even though it does, over and over again!

• Were there any parts I found annoying: The blow up at the end and the resolution all happened a bit abruptly.
I'm also probably not the demographic this book is aimed at. I'm sure in my twenties, Katie would have come across as sassy and spunky and I would have given it 4.5 stars, but in my forties she comes across as judgemental and bitchy so its 3.5 stars (sorry!)

Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa have done a great job narrating Mr. O.M.G. Chapters alternate POV's between characters, with each narrator doing a chapter. The characters personalities and the chemistry between them comes through in the narration making for an enjoyable audio experience.

Katie and Cole

Good story even though a forbidden romance. Stephanie Brother wrote a good story that was well paced and kept my listening throughout.

Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa did a great job with the narration. Jeffrey Kafer is one of my favorite narrators. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

4 stars

This a pretty good book. It’s a taboo romance about having found out your one will be your step brother. But I live the way it’s handled.

Good

I can tell that the author did a great job with a character description/behavior when I hate them or love them. Katie' drolling on and on and being judgement drove me nuts and it made me wonder...Do other people find it annoying when women act this way? I found myself extremely frustrated and yelling at her a few times, so GREAT job building her up, by the end I didn't hate her which was good. Cole's character was more pragmatic and he seemed to be the one with a good head on his shoulders. They both grew throughout the book and became better people by the end.

Overall the book was good.

Cute but not my cup of tea.

Cute story, I did struggle a little with the female leads insecurities. It was well written but I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t my cup of tea.

Great listen

I really enjoyed this stepbrother romance. There was just enough conflict and angst to pull you in but not overwhelm you. And the narrators are fantastic! I love when you have two narrators. Overall a great listen
