About this listen

When your mean boss asks you if you’re ready to admit defeat—and move out of his car...you wonder where you went wrong in life.

Two weeks ago, I was an optimistic office girl with a Pinterest vision board and a dream.

Now? I’m standing in a billionaire’s penthouse office, trying not to throw a donut at his smug, perfect face.

McCarthy Svensson is my new boss-slash-personal tormentor.

Though he thinks he’s my only protector.

He’s wrong. He’s way worse than the merry-go-round of ex fiancés who may or may not be stalking me, including ex-fiancé number one of three, who fakes his death then pops up out of a casket. Alive.

Yes, I have a messy dating life.

I like to think it makes me unique and quirky!

He
doesn’t seem to think so.

When he growls, “I’m not helping you until you admit you need me,” I slam a binder against his chest and smile sweetly.
“Pick your fake girlfriend, buddy. Deadline’s midnight.”

He smirks. “As long as she’s nothing like you.”

Cool.
Now all I have to do is convince this ice-cold bastard that I’m exactly what he needs...

No not like that! I’m trying to save his reputation and my job.

And I’m not saving either if I keep letting him finger me in the back seat of his limo…gulp.

Stalkers, hot but toxic bosses, a granny with a flamethrower… This full-length, stand-alone, enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy with all of the crazy laughs and of course the perfect happily ever after!

McCarthy is a PR nightmare and Jenna is the next in a long line of consultant's hired to fix the issue. Jenna life is chaos personified but she has a ten step plan. what could go wrong. This is a funny read with eccentric characters Jenna's and McCarthy's families should both come with warning labels. I loved this story and the Svenssons area gold mine.
Brilliant series.

I went into Mr. Not Your Savior expecting chaos, spice, and snark—and I got all that, plus a flamethrower-wielding granny. From the very first chapter, I was hooked by the sheer absurdity and emotional whiplash of McCarthy Svensson and his new assistant, who’s equal parts quirky and unhinged (in the best way).

The narration was a standout. Avery Reid nails the comedic timing and emotional vulnerability of the heroine, while Ryan Stone gives McCarthy that ice-cold, alpha edge with just enough growl to make the spicy scenes hit hard. Their chemistry in audio is electric—especially during the fake dating setup and those limo scenes (yes, those scenes).

What I loved most was how the story balanced outrageous humor with genuine emotional stakes. Beneath the enemies-to-lovers banter and billionaire drama, there’s a thread of vulnerability that made me care about these characters. Even when McCarthy was being a total menace, I found myself rooting for him—and yelling at him.

If you enjoy audiobooks that feel like a rom-com on steroids—with stalkers, fake funerals, and a boss who’s one binder away from a breakdown—this one’s for you. It’s spicy, ridiculous, and surprisingly heartfelt.
