About this listen

Lieutenant Abigail Hargrove comes from a long line of cops...."dirty cops". Most of the policing in this book is done on foot while the riding of horses seems to be predominantly held up as public relations exercise. I don't know if that is really how it works but I guess the 'mounted police' don't investigate murder etc. Anyway, the crime story is good and keeps you guessing while the romance is inevitable (given the nature of the genre!). Likeable main characters and the increasingly cohesive mounted unit.
