Summary
'I didn't realize he was a werewolf at first. My nose isn't at its best when surrounded by axle grease and burnt oil....'
Mercedes Thompson runs a garage in the Tri-Cities. She's a mechanic, and a damn good one, who spends her spare time karate training and tinkering with a VW bus that happens to belong to a vampire. Her next-door neighbour is an alpha werewolf - literally the leader of the pack. And Mercy herself is a shapeshifter, sister to coyotes. As such she's tolerated by the 'wolves but definitely down the pecking order. As long as she keeps her eyes down and remembers her place, the pack will leave her in peace.

Very enjoyable book very well narrated
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes - it has a good story, the principle character is very likeable and the narration is excellent
What other book might you compare Moon Called to, and why?
Its in the same lines as the Sookie Stackhouse ( but without the sex) and Jane Yellowrock ( our heroine is also a shifter ) stories. It is set in our world but where Vampires and Werewolves and other Fey characters are very active. There are some subtle differences and the Werewolves have a bigger role than Vampires in this book - bit of a hint in the title there. If you like the Stackhouse/Yellowrock books you will probably like this
Have you listened to any of Lorelei King’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Not yet but I will and hope she is as good in those
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Made me laugh in a few places
Any additional comments?
Enjoyed it and will be downloading the next book in the series soon

4th time.
This is the 4th time I have listened to this audio book and would happily listen again. Weather it's good or bad, I have a thing for lorelie King's voice, she brings the book alive. I have listened to all books that she has narrated and she is amazing. This book and the whole series is fab.

Brilliant
I loved this book, and I will definitely be getting the rest. Mercy is a great character. She feisty, funny and cheeky and she doesn't let herself be pushed around. I also really like the fake that she's not supernaturally strong or stunningly beautiful, she's just a normal woman who happens to turn into a coyote. It makes her much more believable and likeable as a character, plus we all love an underdog.
The narrator did a good job and has a pleasant voice, which made the book enjoyable to listen to as well.
Overall I really liked this book and would happily recommend it to others.

Recording problems
The story is great, I loved it but I was very disappointed to find that there seems to be issues with the audio recording.
The narrative “skips” every now and then. Missing out chunks of dialogue

Disappointed
This genre is right up my alley and read good reviews.. But sadly I find it to be slow and boring, I have heard about 5 hours into the book and for the last three I have thought about returning it, but kept going in the hope that it would grow on me... But no... Am giving up..
The book can just nok keep my attention, I have no connection with the characters or the storyline..
No recommendation for this book from me.
The narrator is good and is absolutely doing well with what she have to work with...

Loved it!
I read this book many years ago and decided to listen this time, and it was so worth the credit! I live Mercy Thompson and alpha wolf, Adam Hauptmann. Patricia Briggs has created an intricate world of beings if all kinds, many if whom are incredibly dangerous. Each story builds on the last, fleshing out characters with rich storytelling. Lorelie King is an excellent narrator and she excels reading this book. Fabulous 💖💖💖💖💖
