Great story let down by bad narration. It's really not difficult to pronounce words correctly.

I love Michael Cole books but I just couldn't get into this one unfortunately

I love giant killer octopus stories. Once the background had been set, it was action and destruction all the way.
Narration wasn't great. A couple of the character voices made them sound like caricatures.

I purchased this title with a credit having looked and seen the octopus and thought this might be a good deviation from the usual predatory shark tales...a few chapters in, no sign of the beast, and the narrator is not very good with character voices. Bit annoying and that's a shame

very fun story made even better by the voice of Adrian. overall the story left me somewhat wanting, I think following uncle Lucas would have been a little more fun but still a very good story. Adrians usual talent with voices and accents is on display here.
