Like all of Lightening’s books, Monster Lessons is great for kids and parents. When Jelly-Boo sees that the small monsters are unable to attend school, she establishes her own school with the motto "Be the best you can be" as a result.
Soon the little monsters are uncovering their hidden talents... Squiggle Limbs, for instance, have excellent telescoping abilities. Pink-Puff excelled at working in groups and Bushy-Brows is skilled at creating things so he makes the monsters that were homeless blankets.Great book to teach children about having their own special talents. My nephew loved listening to this at bed time. David A Nickerson was a fantastic narrator.
