The book starts interesting about a topic which interests me, and ends as a smorgasbord of conspiracy theories. Why didn't the description mention that the book would transition into a rant about how AI was being used to promote the global climate conspiracy that atmospheric gasses cause changes in the earth's climate, etc etc.
