Through candid storytelling and self-disclosure, Mistakes, Missteps, Missed Opportunities offers a refreshing departure from the idealized narratives of leadership, providing an unfiltered examination of the impact, context and lessons learned through errors made by real educational leaders.
For new administrators, this book is intended to serve as a GPS, minimizing missteps and offering guidance through the treacherous early years. Experienced administrators will gain insights to refine their leadership skills, while more seasoned leaders will find a valuable resource to navigate the challenges of their remaining years in education. The final chapter provides more personal insights for administrators struggling to balance the demands at work with the needs at home.
Mistakes, Missteps, Missed Opportunities is for educational leaders who have the courage and conviction to remain educational learners. It is a call for authenticity, humility, and continuous growth in the field of educational leadership.

"A successful career in Ed leadership equals years of study and then decades of continuous learning, along with some trial and error. As I reflect on my missteps, I long for a time machine that could deliver this book to my rookie self." – Bob Price Ed.D, M.Ed Past President of Learning Forward NJ, Consultant, and Adjunct Professor
