Wow! All the feels with this one. A romantic thriller/suspense/mystery.
This book drew me in and never let go. 75% in, I had goosebumps and my heart was beating so fast. I was so invested. Some heavy topics and character growth really set the pace.
No spoilers here. Go in blind and thank me later. Highly recommend.
Ps. I loved Nick and Maria's writing style and look forward to more from them.
PPS... Maria, you have a wonderful narrators voice.

I confess I bought this audiobook out of curiosity, having followed Nick and Maria for years back when I was on social media. And I admit,I was skeptical, but beautiful influencers can write a gripping story,so there you have it. I started seeing the pieces of the mystery fall into place about halfway through and then I was enjoying seeing (hearing) everything click together. It's not a life altering book,but it's a great ride with lots of emotions (and baked goods).I won't say anything about the story because I don't want to give anything away,you'll just have to find out for yourself .Well done Nick and Maria,the voicework was excellent,I loved the Canadian accent making tiny appearances, especially on the 'ou'-sound. A good story,an emotional reveal and the suspense-love themes were just right. Definitely looking forward to the next one!
