When Miranda Westerby's estranged and unpleasant great-aunt suddenly passes away, it appears that she left a legacy behind: a home in the idyllic village of Fairford Parva, Wiltshire. However, there are strings attached to the inheritance....

The move prompts more discoveries about her family history than Miranda bargained for, which leave her confused and hurt. But while she might not have any flesh or blood around, Miranda does have the chance to shape a new circle of people dear to her. And perhaps find love along the way.

I feel a lot of mini details were used instead of extending the storyline . Ending seemed crammed into two chapters

Disappointed that there isn’t a follow up book

I listen to a lot of audiobooks and found this one to be very disappointing

Only half a story, what happened to the rest of the story. Story seemed to finish abruptly

I loved the story but I felt that was only the beginning and there should be another 6 or 7 chapters to complete the book.

Where is the rest of the story?

it's a very short book. Not the normal standard Anna Jacobs.
I figured the storyline from the beginning. very disappointing

it was pretty obvious from the beginning what the ending would be

I find it hard to believe that this is an Anna Jacobs story it is quite unrealistic but the worst thing is there is no end to the story.

Unrealistic story line.
