Season Two of the hit Mistletoe Murders spin-off, Middlebridge Mysteries, stars Anna Cathcart (XO, Kitty, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) as the irrepressible Violet Wilner, navigating the second year of her Criminology degree at Middlebridge University, as the mysteries of life away from Fletcher’s Grove keep piling up.

From Canadian Screen Award winner Ken Cuperus and featuring Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) reprising his role as Professor Bellows, alongside a stellar ensemble cast including Charles Van der Vaart (Outlander), Mason Temple (Ginny & Georgia) and Saara Chaudry (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), the second season of Middlebridge Mysteries sees Violet juggling schoolwork, extra-curricular projects, and her relationships while the mysteries she can’t help but solve this year become much closer to home.

Violet Wilner thinks she’s got it under control in her sophomore year of the highly competitive Criminology program at Middlebridge University. Now living off campus with best friend Bonnie, as well as unexpected house-guest and former roommate Krista, and still dating sweet football player Hunter, Violet’s social life is set. But between classes, the extra-curricular cold case project Professor Bellows recruited her and academic nemesis Stewart to work on, and daily life as a semi-adult, Violet’s got a lot going on. Still, she’s never too busy for a good mystery, and life at Middlebridge is more mysterious than ever. Violet finds herself drawn into more shady circumstances, but this year it gets personal. Between her own mom’s Middlebridge past, classmate Stewart in trouble and even Professor Bellows himself turned-prime suspect, the stakes have never been higher. And with that extra pressure, Violet’s juggling skills are put to the test, as she solves the crimes and catches the guilty, but at what cost to her? No good deed goes unpunished, as they say.
