Cute story about a single mother finding love with a big burly farmer. Evie and Luke meet in the store where she is clerk, with him looking for a pair of trousers that fit.

It's not heavily seasonal, but it's set in Texas, so you can't really expect much on that front. 😂
It's also a very short story, so don't set your expectations too high, but it's cute and sweet and certainly spicy. As a matter of fact, the dirty talk is superb.

Might check out this author again in the new year.

I love all of Tessa Bailey's work. This was a bit Insta love but given that it is a short read then it works. Excellent narration. Have really enjoyed this whole series so far

Story was average. Some of the language used was a bit too much for me. Do not like the word ‘c***’ in a sexual chapter but maybe I am just crude.

Merry Ever After is part of the Under the Mistletoe series by Tessa Bailey. This is a short Christmas novella perfect if you are in the mood for a Christmassy book to read in one sitting.

Another absolutely adorable Christmas read. This one is probably one of my favourites of the series. I loved the storyline with this one, speaks to my mother side!

Luke is freaking adorable but has a dirty mouth! I absolutely loved the scenes between him and Sonny 😍, the narrator, Connor Crais, is a perfect fit for this character, definitely how I imagine his voice. Evie was sweet and feisty, putting her son first yet still knew what she wanted.

I loved the characters, the way the relationship developed, the spice of course and just the overall theme of the book. Also the epilogue 😭😭😭❤️

It was an enjoyable listen, the narrators brought the story to life. Good story of opposite attracts, only 4 stars as some dialogues can be quite cringey. 😬
