They are both VERY CHRISTIAN, no sex before marriage. yet he gets drugged and she is "seduced" and ends up pregnant. It is the harping on about her poverty and their morals that subdue the rest of the story. It is like balancing on two socially except morals without offending either. Times have changed and though good to read, not good to listen too, with the pathetic women's accents.
