A troubled past, a magical future, and a whole lot of adventure!

Raised in the slums and alleys of Helsin, Argo is tired of lurking. He is exhausted of living meal to meal and tries to elevate himself to a better life. The Rumi Guild he plans to depart, well, they decide the bury him instead of letting him escape their grip. Went on this book for something to kill time. But I kept getting into the story and couldn't wait to get further along in the story. It turned into a great story. The MC isn't a wimp but also not a hard a$$. A really solid character and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Han Yang's books are amazing and this one was no exception. well written and great storyline. the characters are amazing if a bit shallow. all in all, a really good one.

Got to be honest, the book started off slow but didn't have to wait long for it to pick up steam.
Argo might not think his a hero but his actions speak for themselves. Hoping a sequel for this book is in the works.

Awesome story, an odyssey in an out of itself. This is a free copy I received for an honest review, and honestly I loved th story. It really is a hero ballad, a man that rises from the lowest, a hero that comes from the unexpected, and that is a little gray in it's actions. We have a good soul but one that doesn't really want to be a hero, but nonetheless ends up as one. And the narration of this book is spotless, awesome really, we can really relate with our MC through. I definitely recommend it.
