About this listen

Johanna Ingridsdottir, a Danish Special Forces officer assigned to the Sirius Sled Patrol in the icy interior of Greenland discovers three bodies encased in ice at the terminus of the Jakobshavn Glacier. The man, woman and half-grown child are remarkably well-preserved. There has never been any human habitation on that remote glacier. Why are they there? Where did they come from?

Aylina Tayu, a Goth polymath, discovers they have been in the ice for 75,000 years.

Are they even human?

The pursuit of answers propels Johanna and Aylina into a series of astounding events that change everything.

A wide-ranging techno-thriller by the author of Pa’An and Sage of Sagittarius.

The story is fun with lots of characters. Easy listening and not hard to commit to. The narrator does a wonderful job of reading and portraying all the voices and accents. My favourite chapter was when one of the main characters is kidnapped and she builts an AI with an alterior motive.

Wonderfully read with great characters

I am on chapter 20 so not yet finished. The story is very superficial so far and very basic in any form of classification you can think of e.g. concept, depth of story. As for narration, well I've heard worse, but that not a back handed compliment. The narration sounds like it's being read to her children at bedtime. As for the scandinavian accents all I can say is OMG.... absolutely horrific. A not very great listen at all

Dreadful
