It’s is so beautifully written. I could not stop reading and at the end of every chapter I wanted to read more. Julia is such a mesmerising character I felt a deep loyalty to her throughout the story.

Was I crying when I hit the 80% mark? Absolutely. This is the second book I’ve read by Sarah J. Harris and both times I’ve become attached to the characters and their stories. The characters she writes are so unique - flawed and SO realistic - and beautiful. ♡

Such a wonderful discussion of grief and second chances as well as determination and bravery AND of course love. Both conditional and unconditional.
There was a time before the 80% mark when the book felt a little bit slower for me but to be honest, when I finished reading it, this didn’t matter much. The ending made me want to get a sequel! I want to see what happens to these characters, I want to keep reading about their lives 😭.
