Summary

I didn't like the myriad accents Jilly Bond employed for all the characters but the story was lovely and like all LD's books I have listened to it had a life enhancing ending.

After listening to a couple of heavy going books I needed something a bit lighter & easy going to listen to & this was it!! Got my attention & interest from the start, was easy to follow with great narration. Made me smile & laugh, whilst sympathising with the characters. Just a lovely listen with likeable characters.

Great story lines for an easy listen on audiobooks. It all comes to together ending. I love these audiobooks for light relief after a busy day. I will dig out the next one by Lucy. Extra treat when they are free on audible!
