Some powerful messages powerfully delivered

This book is a little dated, but the vast majority of its messages are still relevant in the modern world.

There are plenty of practical suggestions to go alongside the learning. It's good straightforward advice that you may have heard before but, if you are anything like me, probably need to hear again!

I like audiobooks narrated by the author too - they are usually passionate about their subject and that was the case here.

The only negative was it was a little repetitive and could have been condensed to tighten the delivery of the message.

How to take responsibility of your own success

Great book about taking the responsibility of your own success in life. The story could have been divided into 3 different books. At times it felt a little exhaustive to listen to such a long book. I needed to listen the book at 75% speed, since English isn´t my native language and read other books beside this one. I had to rewind some parts of the book several times to really internalise and learn the subject. It took me 2 months to finish listening the whole book. Brian Tracy has a very soothing and emphatic voice.

get your inner World sorted out

this was probably one of the top 3 best personal development programs that I've ever taken. It ranks right up there with personal power from Tony Robbins.

I loved that the chapters and lessons were divided up so thoughtfully.

The goal setting formula that he shares in that lesson has been worth the entire program. Wow what an insight.

I absolutely recommend that you get this program right now if you want to improve yourself personally.

Some good things, some not so good.

I think in general there are good things to be gotten from this book. Other things I felt like fast forwarding through and at times were even questionable or incorrect like how some kind of thinking / believing causes cancer (or cures it) as well as I forget how he put it, but basically that God or Providence or something is controlling you and your success... I'm not saying there is not a guiding hand, but I believe that it is up to you to put in the work and work hard at that, and that the spacey "try as little as possible" and let God do it for you is just not correct. Again, there is a lot of good to be had in this book, but some (a lot of) sketchy things as well. At times the authors monotone voice put me to near sleep which was very hazardous driving while listening to him. In the end, I probably won't be rereading (re-listening) to this and I won't be buying any of Mr. Tracy's other works. In contrast, I will be re-listening to other authors including Jim Rohn and Darren Hardy

Life changing advice in this book

If you could sum up Maximum Achievement in three words, what would they be?

Laws for best life

Any additional comments?

This is a life changing book. I have read and listened to this book three times and plan to listen few more times until I program my brain with the tips and laws taught in this book. This is very simple straight forward book and gives laws that you can apply in your everyday life. It also gives the basis for understanding why you do what you do. Anyone who wants to change their life for better and be a better person should read Maximum Achievement, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Awaken the Giant Within

Life changing for sure.

I’ve seen daily miracles after employing teachings from this book. My first time through the book I just listened. Since then and over the last two months I’ve made it a daily portioned reading. As well I’ve made over 350 book marks with notes so I can locate and employ the nuggets. All human beings can benefit from these teachings. Don’t believe me, I challenge everyone to find out for their selves. Achievement/progress in some or many areas will be inevitable.

Excellent Philosophies But Has Issues

I loved this book. Its super valuable to those who want to learn the best strategies to push themselves to be the best they can be.

However it comes to a few short sighted conclusions, attributing lucky scenarios and success to a supernatural insight. Just skip the "super concious mind" chapter the rest is gold.

Rehashed Material

I appreciate Brian Tracy and what he's taught me about my self-development, but there is nothing new here. If you're new to his work, his older material will serve you much better.

Worthwhile nuggets of wisdom

If you feel like your life is missing some motivation but you’re just not sure where to find it, or if perhaps you have a character flaw holding you back from success, but can’t figure out what it is, this book will help you!

Some information in this book you may already know, but I guarantee you Brian will say at least one or two (or more) things that will make you say “wow!”

A worthwhile, classic listen. Give it a try. You’ll be a better human for it.

Great but...

Although I like Brian Tracy books and the great contents they have, but as for audio books he should stop narrating them and let some professionals do this. It could be 5 stars if someone else did.
Also I hate it when the audio book chapters are not titled.
