Summary

These books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: you are not alone.

Matilda is a brilliant child with a magical mind.

But her parents have decided she's just a nuisance who wastes too much time on reading and stories.

And her headmistress Miss Trunchbull is a terrible bully, who thinks children are rotten and awful and should be locked up.

Now it's time for Matilda to find the power to change her story, and show them just how extraordinary children can be . . .

Lovely Audiobook

I loved the movie Matilda as a child however I couldn’t read the book because I’m dyslexic and it was too difficult- so it’s lovely to finally hear the original story and I’ve always loved Daisy Ridley so this is the perfect audiobook for me! I love the voices she does for Matilda’s dad and Miss Trunchball and this audiobook is just lovely to listen to!

The story was great

I disliked how mean Matilda’s parents were and liked how kind miss honey was and her friends

100% better than Kate Winslets attempt

Read so much better than Kate, I do feel the voice for matilda is a little off she sounds slightly dead inside.
