Summary
Dear German language student,
Our Mastering German Conversation series gives students the opportunity to train their conversation skills with our oral drills. Each module focuses on a specific aspect of grammar.
This module focuses on the perfect tense. The perfect tense places action in the past.
The major components of this unit:
- Introduction to 150 of the most commonly used verbs with their past participle forms
- Explanation of when to use the auxiliary verb "haben" and when to use "sein"
- Training vocabulary helpful in and around the office
- Initiating, accepting, and having phone conversations
- Scheduling appointments
After working through the drills, the student will have a good grasp of formulating concepts in the past tense and be able to interact at a basic level when speaking on the phone and scheduling appointments.
Please see our website for the accompanying manuscript of this course as well as demos of the oral drills.
Kind regards,
The Mastering German Conversation Team
